Robert Springhorn
Co-Founder | Midwest Building Solutions
Robert Springhorn is the co-founder of Midwest Building Solutions, a company he and his wife, Felicity, built from the ground up five years ago. Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to his customers, Robert has helped grow the company into a thriving exterior remodeling business.
One of Robert’s greatest strengths is his extensive knowledge of the insurance restoration process. He understands the challenges homeowners can face when dealing with exterior damage and insurance claims and works closely with customers to help them understand their options, properly document damage, and navigate the restoration process from start to finish. His experience and persistence have become an important part of the company’s success.
Outside of MBS, Robert enjoys sports, traveling, and visiting casinos in different destinations. Most importantly, he is a devoted husband to Felicity and proud father of their three children. He and Felicity also share their home with their two puppies, Archie and Bunker.
For Robert, Midwest Building Solutions is more than a business—it’s a company built on family, hard work, and the belief that doing right by your customers is the foundation for lasting success.
Felicity Springhorn
Co-Founder | Midwest Building Solutions
Felicity Springhorn is the co-founder of Midwest Building Solutions and plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the company. Working alongside her husband, Robert, Felicity helps oversee the many behind-the-scenes details that keep the business running smoothly.
Felicity’s favorite part of the business is marketing and advertising. She loves finding creative ways to showcase the company while building relationships within the community. She especially enjoys participating in local charity events to give back to their community. Felicity and Robert’s dream is to someday open their own animal shelter.
As a family-owned business, Felicity believes that treating customers like neighbors—not numbers—is at the heart of what makes Midwest Building Solutions special.
Outside of work, Felicity enjoys spending time with Robert and their three children, traveling, and making memories with their two puppies, Archie and Bunker. For Felicity, building Midwest Building Solutions has been a family journey—and one she is incredibly proud to share with her husband.

Beyond his professional life, Luis is a devoted family man who values the importance of balance. While he is passionate about his career and the satisfaction that comes from helping clients protect their homes, he also cherishes the time he spends with his family. This balance keeps him motivated to uphold the highest standards in both his work and personal life.
Austin Fleenor

Austin Fleenor is a dedicated roofing specialist at Midwest Building Solutions in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. With more than five years of experience helping homeowners in Crystal Lake and surrounding communities, Austin specializes in high-quality roof repairs and replacements, including larger re-roofing projects and cedar shake roofing.
He takes pride in guiding homeowners through the entire process, from hail damage inspections and preventive maintenance to insurance claim assistance and full roof replacement. His goal is to make every project as straightforward and stress-free as possible while delivering dependable craftsmanship and long-lasting results.
As a father of two, Austin understands firsthand how important a strong, reliable roof is when it comes to protecting what matters most—your family and your home. He brings that same personal perspective to every project and is committed to providing honest recommendations, clear communication, and reliable solutions.
